Who underwrites the risk of my insurance?

What is a personal tontine for insurance?

It is a personal savings goal you create to progressively prepare the amount needed for a future insurance premium.

Does the money saved already count as payment of my premium?

No. A personal tontine is a financial preparation tool, separate from the contractual payment of the premium to the insurer.
